Running

You have probably thought of when you are going to die and have been scared of that. Well if you run once a week you can outpace an early death in this case you live longer. It can be any amount of running can reduce the risk of an early death. And if you are motivated to run maybe this will help.

What makes running outpace an early death is unknown but it dose increases your health in many ways. Scientist Željko Pedišić asked 232,149 participants about their running habits and then tracked their health over a period of time from 5 ½ to 35 years.Over the course of each study a total of 25,951 participants died, allowing the researchers to look for statistical associations between running and risk of death. The researchers found that people who ran, even those who reported running as infrequently as once a month, had a 27 percent reduced risk of death from any cause compared with non-runners.

Then intensity you run is also unknown. The amount you need to run is 250 minutes per week at your own pace. Some studies have sparked debate by suggesting that higher levels of running , more than 250 minutes a week could actually negate any benefits in terms of not having a premature death. You can also run a certain amount everyday it just has to equal up to 250 minutes per week.

If you don’t want to die sooner than later I suggest just running 250 minutes per week every week after work, school, volunteering, or anything. Plus you also get to exercise a healthy amount.
